How do I book a taxi?
- Select Heraklion Airport or Heraklion Port and move on to the next step.
- Search for the name of your hotel if known, otherwise select VIEW LIST and then select the area it is in (DESTINATIONS).
- At Step 3, the taxi hire price for your chosen trip will appear.
- Fill in your details and move on to Step 4, where you will be required to enter your credit card details.
- All your data are absolutely secure at every step.
Will I receive email confirmation for my taxi booking?
A few seconds after completing the taxi booking and credit card payment, you will receive your booking confirmation at the email you have provided us with. If there is a mistake, please contact us immediately to rectify it.
If you do not receive the email we have sent, check your spam folder in case your email programme has moved it there automatically.
Might the taxi driver ask me for more money than I have paid?
In no case will you need to pay your driver cash. If you want to leave him a tip, that is entirely up to you.
If my flight is delayed for several hours, will the taxi driver wait?
Don’t worry at all. The taxi driver will wait for you in the arrivals lounge, holding up a card with your name, even if your flight is severely delayed.
Is smoking allowed in the taxi?
Smoking in taxis is forbidden by Greek law, so all our taxis are smoking-free.
Can I ask for a child seat in the taxi?
Select the “child seat” option when booking the taxi. This service is available on most routes.
Will I be charged extra if I have a lot of luggage?
There is no extra charge for your luggage, as long as it fits in the taxi. If you have bulky luggage, please select the appropriate option on the booking form.
